Who is responsible

Scandipuzzlebrixl Ltd, company no. 14837261, is responsible for the personal information it handles in connection with this website and editorial correspondence. Our registered office is 18 Alder Mews, Bristol BS1 5QT, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions or requests.

The local message tool

The Contact page constructs a plain-text draft in your browser. Its fields and preview are not submitted to a server by the website’s JavaScript, and the tool does not save your draft to local storage. Copying places text on your device’s clipboard with your action; downloading creates a text file on your device. Your operating system, browser or other applications may retain copied or downloaded material under their own settings.

If you choose to email the draft, your email provider and our email service process that correspondence. Include only what is necessary. Do not send confidential customer material, passwords, unrestricted flight archives or sensitive operational locations.

Correspondence and purposes

If you email us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, message and attachments. We use it to respond, consider corrections, maintain relevant correspondence and protect against misuse. Our usual lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating an informative website and handling enquiries. Where a request involves a legal obligation, that obligation may provide the relevant lawful basis.

We do not use editorial correspondence to add you to a marketing list. We do not sell your personal information. Information may be accessible to service providers supporting email, hosting or security where necessary for their tasks, and may be disclosed when legally required.

Technical information and browser storage

Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information such as IP address, requested resource, time and browser information to deliver the website, troubleshoot problems and protect security. The supplied website code contains no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, third-party fonts or embedded social widgets.

The preference controls on the Cookies page store a browser choice in local storage. This is not a tracking profile. See the Cookies notice for the storage name and how to remove it. External source links are ordinary links; following them takes you to another organization’s website and privacy practices.

Retention and security

We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, editorial record, dispute handling or applicable legal requirements. Relevance, sensitivity and ongoing need affect that decision; we do not promise one fixed period for all messages. Browser preferences remain on your device until replaced or cleared.

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information involved, but no website, email system or device is completely secure. If a service provider processes information outside the United Kingdom, any transfer must use an applicable lawful mechanism, such as an adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual safeguards where required.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law provides rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict processing, object to processing, and receive certain information in a portable form. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.

Email us with enough detail to identify the relevant information. We may need proportionate identity verification. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. This notice may be updated when the website’s processing changes; the current version will appear on this page.
